FINAL CALL: Just Two Weeks Left to Nominate for the 2025 Women Leaders Awards

The countdown is officially on. With just two weeks to go until nominations close for the 2025 Women Leaders Awards, the race is on to shine a light on the incredible women making a difference across Milton Keynes.

 The deadline—Friday 25th April—is fast approaching, and Women Leaders is urging the community to act now and make sure the achievements of extraordinary women don’t go unnoticed.

Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, the 2025 Women Leaders Awards carries the powerful theme: “Smashing Stereotypes,” – focusing on breaking barriers, championing diversity, and celebrating the women redefining what leadership looks like in Milton Keynes.

From innovators in tech and STEM, to public service heroes, creatives, educators, retailers and entrepreneurs—these awards honour women from all walks of life. Whether they’re leading businesses, volunteering in the community, or mentoring the next generation, their contributions deserve recognition.

 “Don’t let this opportunity pass. If you know a woman whose impact deserves to be celebrated—or if that woman is you—now is the time to step forward,” said Dr Julie Mills OBE, Chair of Women Leaders. “Nomination takes just a few minutes, but the recognition can have a lasting impact.”

Recognition through the Women Leaders Awards has proven to be a powerful catalyst—previous winners have gone on to launch businesses, take on leadership roles, and become mentors and change-makers within the community.

This year, 15 awards will be presented at a dazzling gala dinner on Thursday 12th June at the DoubleTree by Hilton at Stadium MK, with 14 open to public nomination. Categories span industries and sectors, reflecting the diversity and dynamism of women driving change across the city.
