Join Us in Shaping the Next Chapter of Women Leaders
This year marked 10 years of Women Leaders UK - a decade of celebrating, connecting, and inspiring incredible individuals across Milton Keynes and beyond.
Since our very first awards in 2015, we’ve recognised more than a thousand women and built a community that continues to grow stronger every year.
But our work doesn’t stop at recognition. Through our mentoring and allyship programmes, partnership projects, and ongoing advocacy, we’re helping to level the gender playing field and create more inclusive workplaces where everyone can thrive.
Now, as we look to the future, we’re opening expressions of interest for new trustees to join our Board and play a vital, proactive role in shaping the vision and future of our charity.
This is a natural moment of evolution for us, as a few long-serving trustees complete their terms, we’re expanding our Board to strengthen our governance and support the charity’s continued growth and ambition. We know the strength that comes from diversity equity and inclusion and we’d love to hear from values-led, skilled people interested in taking on an active trustee role.
We’re particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in finance (to serve as Treasurer), as well as those with backgrounds in quality, compliance and technology.
If you’re passionate about collaboration, equality, and making a real difference, this is a wonderful opportunity to get involved and help shape the future of a charity that has already made such a powerful impact.
As our founder Jan Flawn CBE reflected during our anniversary celebrations: “We have come so far in the last 10 years, but there is still so much to do.”
Those interested in joining the Board and helping to shape the next chapter of Women Leaders are invited to complete an expression of interest form by 7th November via this link: Women Leaders UK – Expression of Interest Formal applications will close shortly after, and interviews will take place at the end of November.
